I started
this blog to chronicle my thoughts on issues related to faith and religion. I’ve
always found religion and liturgy interesting and just wanted a place to sort
out my ideas. Little did I know that I would wind up chronicling my journey
across the Tiber.
It’s
difficult for me to look back and realize how it happened. My conversion from Cumberland
Presbyterian to Roman Catholic was a series of tiny little pushes going back
as far as I know. God was lining up this transition since I was a child, but it
took the Spirit’s less-than-subtle pushing in 2011 for me to actually listen. I
was confirmed into the Catholic Church Easter 2012.
So now I’m
still blogging about my thoughts on faith but from a much different perspective
than when I started. I'm still learning how to be a better
Christian, a better writer, and a better listener. I’m a sinner in the hands of
a merciful God.
Emily, I love this picture of the Statue of the Seven Sorrows of Mary. I am looking for a picture to put in a small book I am writing. Do you know if this is in the public domain? Michelle
